Students complete a total of two and a half weeks of practical work in an institution researching antiquity and its reception. The institution is chosen by the student and approved by the course coordinator. Internships offer students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience. The internship is usually carried out in cooperation with institutions such as the ZRC SAZU; NUK; German Archaeological Institute (DAI) in Rome; National Museum of Slovenia; City Museum of Ljubljana; Archives of the Republic of Slovenia; Archdiocesan Archives in Ljubljana; or at a publishing house. It can take the form of an internship, for instance in museums, archives or archaeological excavations; it can also take the form of long-term collaboration, related to a research project but focused on transfer of specific knowledge, such as editorial techniques or software.
