Goals of economic geography; development of theory and methodology, key development directions; theories of economic development cycles and their regional-geographical dimensions; sustainable production, use and reproduction of natural, material and social conditions for human subsistence; economy: economic systems, wealth of the society, gross domestic production, economic factors, production, consumption and trade, indicators of economic and social development; economic spatial systems.

Agricultural geography: formation and main types of agricultural landscape; agrarian systems; agriculture and rural development; role of state in agriculture; EU common agricultural policy; supplementary activities in agriculture; globalization and farming; agriculture in less developed countries; sustainable development and agriculture.

Industrial geography: location theories, types of industrial areas, the role of formal institutional factors at the development of manufacturing, spatial indicators of industrialization, contemporary development of manufacturing (finacialization, cultiral/creative industry), contemporary issues in mining industry.
